A bold and conscientious advocate, CG brings more than 15 years of diverse professional experience to Heekin Law. Licensed in Florida, Georgia, and Texas, CG has zealously represented clients before federal and state courts, managing cases from pre-litigation analysis through motion practice, discovery, settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal. In addition to his civil litigation background, CG has worked in-house for a global telecommunications corporation and served the Federal government as regional counsel for the United States Small Business Administration. As founder and managing member of CGS LAW, P.A., CG devoted his efforts to meeting the needs of those individuals and small businesses underserved by the traditional legal marketplace. After three years of operation CGS LAW garnered a 5-star client rating across all online platforms, including Google and Avvo. Rounding out a versatile professional repertoire, CG is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a Florida licensed realtor. CG came of age in the suburbs of metropolitan Atlanta during the 1990s where he developed a passion for sports and became an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and (sadly) the Atlanta Falcons. After graduating from the University of North Georgia, CG attended law school at Florida State University from which he earned a Juris Doctorate in April, 2007. While attending law school, CG interned for the Leon County Public Defender’s Office and clerked for a large commercial litigation firm in Jacksonville. When away from the office, CG can usually be found at the beach, the gym, church, the softball field, or playing with his pup, Babs.
